The Theodore Roosevelt Women's Scholarship program is a permanent scholarship fund designed to help outstanding female students from the Theodore Roosevelt campus in the St. John's neighborhnood of North Portland pursue their education after high school.

2009 Scholarship Application Available—Deadline April 6

March 2009—The 2009 scholarship application is available. Deadline for the completed application is April 6, 2009. Please complete the form online, print it out and bring it, along with the other items requested on the application form, to the following teachers: Students from POWER, bring your application to Alison Strom; students from ACT, bring your application to Vanessa Crock; students from SEIS, bring your application to Elena Velasco.

John Timm of Timmco Insurance Supports TRWSA

Annual TRWSA Auction a Big Success

October 2008—This year's TRWSA Auction on October 8 was a big success. Everyone had lots of fun, enjoyed great food and took home some great acution items. Our thanks to NW Natural's Mark Dodson and Gregg Kantor for hosting the event. Thanks also to Sue Jordan, Auction Chair and Anna Hoffert, Procurement Chair, for a successful evening.

June 2008—We awarded more scholarships this year than ever before—seven young women received awards. The top two recipients were Samantha Davis and Maricruz deJesus Martinez from SEIS. In addition, Alishia Carroll from POWER, as well as four young ladies from the ACT school received awards. You can see more photos of the girls receiving their plaques on page our 2008 Winners page.
